Monday we will be checking to see if we know how to spell our words of the week.  Students will be coming home with a new set of words for next week. 

Please check backpacks today!

Each student has brought home a package about Flat Stanley.  Flat Stanley is a main character in a novel that we are reading.  He gets to travel around the world, as he is flat and can fit in an envelope.  We are asking for your help in sending Flat Stanley to anyone you know in an Acadian, Inuit or Prairie community. 

Acadian: Nova Scotia or close by

Inuit: Nunavut or close by

Prairie:  Saskatchewan or close by

The package has instructions on a yellow piece of paper.

Students can color Stanley, cut out the letter and put him in the mail.  If you do not know anyone in these communities do not worry, you do not NEED to mail him anywhere.  If you have any questions, comments or concerns please do not hesitate emailing me.

We started coloring today.  Students are encouraged to finish coloring Stanley prior to mailing him out.
