Today we logged onto the computers.  We tried to play some of our math games but realized that they did not work.  I am sorry that some of the links I posted were not working on student laptops or home computers. We changed our plan and played guess my number instead. 

This game is helping us understand and practice the order of numbers from 0-100.

Next week we will be working on place value i.e., understanding that 23 is 20 + 3.  We will be describing numbers by how many ones they have and how many tens they have i.e., 23 has 3 ones and 2 tens. 

If you would like to continue practicing at home you can play guess my number.  

- One person thinks of a number between 0-100.  

- They give the others hints i.e.,  

            - higher then ___

            - lower then ____

            - between __ and ___

            - has a ____ in the front or the back of the number

           

We will continue working on improving our mathematical vocabulary by introducing concepts such as: ones, tens, even and odd.
