Tomorrow we Auburn Bay School will be having our Terry Fox Run from 1:45-2:00 outside on the soccer fields. Students please dress for the weather! Families you are welcome to join us outside on the field and participate.
Yesterday in our Novel Study, Flat Stanley was given a medal and the local newspapers called him a hero. This was a great start to a whole group discussion on characteristics that describe a hero.
Today we continued our hero discussion and related this to Terry Fox. We watched part of the video and discussed what makes Terry a hero.
We are collecting Toonies for Terry to help raise money for Cancer Research.
