Today we learned about wh in our lively letters.

"The wind came and it blew the wheelchair into the h.  The wheelchair got h and h said...
What are we doing?
Where are we going?
When will this stop?
Why is this happening to me?"

Water cycle

In Science we are Exploring Liquids and learning about Hot and Cold Temperatures.  We have been learning about the water cycle and how temperature changes the state of matter (water).

Today we made a water cycle in a bag.

Students are bringing home their own water cycle.  I encourage you to hang the water cycle in a window where it will get a lot of sun.  The water cycle in a bag experiment will encourage discussion at home about liquids, gases, hot, cold, evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.  The image below will assist you in having a discussion at home about the experiment. I hope you have fun with this!  Soon each student will be recording a video to explain their knowledge and understanding of the water cycle, this is how I will be assessing their understanding of what they have learned in Science.  Feel free to practice having your child explain the water cycle to you at home!

Here is a video that explains the project.
