Now that we have learned about all three communities, we are learning to compare the three.
We read about what people like to do and then discussed where they should live. Prior to beginning our discussion we learned how to agree and disagree with our peers respectfully. We could say...
"You could live in Nunavut because there is sled dogs and you can fish there."
- Brooklyn
"I agree because Nunavut there you can see animals, it is winter and you can also fish."
- Casey
"I agree because Nunavut is freezing cold. There are polar bears and sled dogs. If the person lives there they would probably be happy."
- Sawyer
"I disagree because maybe you could live in Nova Scotia. You can whale watch and go fishing."
- Alexis
"I disagree, I think they should live in Nunavut because there are husky dogs and they can go ice fishing."
- Jenna

or
I disagree because...
Here is one example of what we did this afternoon. "I love animals. My favorite season is winter. I also enjoy fishing. Where should I live?"
