Thank you for all of your generous donations!

Today we filled two large flat rate boxes from Canada Post. I took it to the post office today at lunch and they were slightly over weight.  With the purchase of a third box we were able to ship all of our food and toys off to Nunavut.

Science: Hot & Cold

This week we learned that an insulator keeps things hot or cold.  Before we attempt to build our own insulator we are researching how animals have natural insulators (bodies).
Today we researched: What keeps a polar bear warm?

Family Discussion:
How does a polar bear stay warm?
"They have big paws."
How does that help them, can you explain more?

At the end of the day during centers we build dens/habitats for different animals.
See the amazing dens we created!
