In reading, this week we are focusing on...

Use textual cues

• preview book covers and titles; look for familiar words, phrases and story patterns to assist with constructing and confirming meaning
• use predictable phrases and sentence patterns, and attend to capital letters, periods, question marks and exclamation marks to read accurately, fluently and with comprehension during oral and silent reading
• Don't read like a robot!!! (song)

We are achieving this through Reader's Theater!  As a whole class we are reading the script 

Bob! The Goody Reindeer.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we are practicing together as a whole class.  Thursday we will be presenting it to our grade 4 buddy class. 

Students wanted me to post the script so they can practice/share with you at home.
