Today in English Language Arts we focused on the Outcome 2: Comprehend and respond personally and critically to oral, print and other media text. 

When writing, we are using descriptive language to write convincing (persuasive) sentences.

When reading, we read Pigeon books written by Mo Willems.  The Pigeon is always trying to convince the reader he should or shouldn't do something.
