Our Magnetism unit has come to an end.  Not to worry, we will continue to apply the knowledge and skills we learned in different ways. 

This week, we were exploring a compass.

"How do you know your successful at using a compass?"  Ms. Ward asked the class.  

"You will be able to find North, South, East and West."  Many students replied.

Today we looked at the map to see if we could use our knowledge of the compass to assist us in getting around.

You can talk about directions with your kids this weekend. 

We know downtown is North.

The hospital is South. 

The mountains are West.

East is the only one left.
